Go Folic! was proud to be part of ‘The Great Folic Acid Debate’ at the Norfolk Food Festival 2011.
Leading the debate, Dr Sian Astley gave a state-of-the art account of the science of folic acid.
Shine member, Margaret Twyford (pictured), who has spina bifida, gave a vivid account of her life and Laura Read, Shine’s Policy Adviser introduced the Go Folic! campaign.
Several audience members later contacted Go Folic! wanting to help spread the message to more women so we were delighted with the response.
