Go Folic! Before You Frolic (Cymru) Launch

On Tuesday 29th November 2011 Go Folic! was launched by Spina bifida • Hydrocephalus • Information • Networking • Equality – SHINE Cymru at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, with the aim of engaging women throughout Wales with this important message. Check out the pitures on the Shine Flickr Account!

Go Folic! calls on all women who might become pregnant to take folic acid each day, as recommended by the NHS because it helps prevent birth defects such as spina bifida. The more people who come on board with our campaign, the more chance future babies have of being born healthy.
